Smile Pretty for the Camera!

Catherine is starting to smile.  Not just those little smiles, but those great big show us your gums smiles that just melt your heart.  Unfortunately we never have the camera around when she's sporting one of those, but we did manage to capture a couple of cute little smiles this past week. 

           

                      

Keep checking back, we're bound to get one of her big smiles on camera before long, and you certainly don't want to miss that! 

Show Me the Answers!

Well, it looks like the "The Keeper of the Keys" is keeping us busy with another meme.  She actually came up with this one herself and it deals with lines or quotes from movies, so it's certainly right up my alley!  The rules are that I am supposed to give the answers to the quotes she came up with and then come up with 10 quotes of my own.  I was going to wait a bit to actually do this because I really didn't think I'd have time, but I've had movie quotes running through my mind non-stop since this morning so I must do this so I can move on with my life!

The answers to Shelly's quotes:  

I couldn't get a single one!  I feel like such a loser, especially since I cheated by going straight over to Paula's  where not only did she answer every single one correctly, she came up with a list that was even harder than Shelly's.  

Now for my quotes:

Hello! It's Catherine

As you can see I'm getting bigger.

                   

I'm almost seven weeks old and I'm becoming very alert.

                   

I don't like to sleep much during the day anymore, I'm too busy looking around and checking things out.  Mommy calls me a cat napper so it's very rare you'll see me like this:

                   

I do sleep well at night though.  And since I'm so cute Mommy says she'll keep me even though she's not getting a lot done.  Besides I make up for my lack of sleep during the day by sleeping pretty good at night.

I'm discovering my hands and my feet. 

                     

I like to shove my hands in my mouth, but Mommy keeps giving me a binky instead.  She says I won't be allowed to put my hands in my mouth after I have surgery, at least until the stitches heal so she needs me to get used to the alternative . 

                     

That's all for now.  Mommy promises that if I start sleeping more, she'll be able to take and post more pictures.  I'm thinking about it, but not sure if I'll comply anytime soon.  She'll just have to wait and see!

In case you can't make mine out, it's a blurry picture of Kent holding up a margarita.  This was before I was pregnant or nursing, which means I would have been drinking a margarita too, hence the fuzzy photo.
