Catherine ran a fever last night and she was being very uncooperative with the under the arm method of temperature taking, so I picked up one of these when I went to Walmart today. I paid slightly more than their website's listed price, but it doesn't matter. It is most definitely worth every single one of the 3,346 pennies I paid for it, and then some!

When one is as sensitive to caffeine as I am, they probably shouldn't indulge in Pioneer Woman's "Literal Coffee Cake" for dessert, but I did. As a result I got about 2 hours of sleep Sunday night, and had to have regular doses of leftover cake throughout the day on Monday just to keep me going!

Someone must have told The Scooter Store about all the damage that has been caused to my feet after years of stepping on Legos. It seems as though they are banking on me as a future customer, because this week I got a brochure in the mail from them inviting me to call and ask about a free mobility consultation.

Thanks to the crystal meth makers of the world, I spent last Saturday evening driving around Lake Geneva looking for an open pharmacy so I could get Kent some Zyrtec-D. Piggly-Wiggly doesn't have a pharmacy and Target's closed at 5, but Walmart's was open. I could only buy one box, and I had to give them my driver's license, so now my buying habits of all things containing pseudoephedrine are now officially being watched!

I read an article today on the 9 ingredients to avoid in processed food. Assuming there's anything good and snack worthy left after you get rid of foods with artificial colors and artificial ingredients, the high fructose corn syrup will certainly eliminate those. If you ask me, listing the other six ingredients was completely futile.

I can't believe I'm going to admit this, but there are some days where I literally thank God for the person who created Yo Gabba Gabba.

Kent got a Droid this week and has spent a good chunk of his free time down loading apps. This morning he found one for preschool. Catherine seems rather amused by it. Now all he needs to do is find one for K-12, laundry, cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping so my work here can be complete!
paul loves his droid - has a secret love for it i dare say ;)
