All-stars got off to a rip-roaring start for the Burlington 11 year olds. Matthew's team won their game 9-3 and Matthew went 2 for 2 (one of those being an triple that turned into an in the park home run on an error) with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. They won their 2nd game last night, at 4-0 it was a bit closer than the first. We have at least 2 more game next week; if they do well it's off to the State Championship in Antigo, WI.
Yeah, we have no idea where that is either!

One of the kids Matthew plays with has a last name of "Wegge", and despite what all the announcers at the games think, it is not pronounced "Wedgie"

I've got lots to do before leaving for Phoenix next Friday. For one my roots are long over due for a touch up. I figure if I don't get around to it I can always try my high school coloring trick, but I can remember if I'm supposed to spray my hair with lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide. I'm either going to come back looking "sun-kissed" or like Cruella DeVille.

At least packing will be easy. The boys each made a list so they don't forget anything:
-swimsuits (this was the only thing on James's list)
-outfit for church (remind me to check that they packed actual clothes and not just a white t-shirt to wear with their swim trunks)
- PSP
- games for PSP
- toothbrush
We've promised to get each of them their own suitcase, so when I go to target this week I'll ask for 4 extra bags.

Catherine is still having problems annunciating the word "sit". This is causing Michael to hyper-ventilate when we go to Mass. If she needs speech therapy one day, it won't be for a lack of trying on Michael's part, "Catherine, say sit ..... ssssssssssit ......... ssssssssssssit ........... sssssssss ..... sssssss ..... sssssssssssssssss.....sssssit!"

Michael is watching the Collegiate Clay Target Championship on ESPN-U, which has me wondering, "Can you get a scholarship for that?"

Matthew spent a large amount of time last week using his camera and his Star Wars Legos to create this amazing stop motion animation type thing that he wanted to make into a movie, he used up 2 picture cards doing it and he can not for the life of him find the first card. We have St. Anthony on the case, but any extra prayers would be much appreciated.
